The ACIS class is an advanced level course designed for juniors and seniors. Students research career fields they are interested in pursuing and then carefully select a mentor with whom he/she will work for the second semester. The Business Symposium is designed to give students an opportunity to spend time interviewing local business professionals about their careers and interacting with them in a social setting.

Michael Mixson, Director of Emergency Services for Medical City McKinney, was one of the business professionals who attended.

Mixson said, "I was very impressed with the high level of professionalism shown by the students. They had excellent questions prepared to ask and were very interesting to talk to."

Students have been preparing for the Business Symposium for the last month and were excited to have a chance to meet and interview professionals in their chosen career field.

Anna High School Assistant Principal Amy Pratt was proud of the students for their hard work and said, "I am grateful to the outstanding professionals in our community for spending the afternoon helping with this great event."
